These are some of my own speaking answers

Hi. I answered some questions myself, and I look forward to receiving a few advice on the grammar and vocabularies and collocations I used in these answers.

1. Where do you live?

I live in Go Vap, a district of HCM City. I have lived in HCM City for about 5 years since I leaved my home to go to the university. Anyways, I’ve just graduated last year and now I am an legal executive at a law firm. I have worked there for over one year since I was an intern for 2 months.

2. How long have you lived there?

I have lived in HCM City for about 5 years but I just moved to GV in the middle of last year. My cousins and me have rented a house to live together. Why we chose this house was that we could go to work or school conveniently.

3. What do you like about your home town?

My home town is called Di Linh, it is a district of Lam Dong province. There are two things that make me love my town, one is the atmosphere and another is scenery. Di Linh is located in high level compared with the sea level so it’s climate is pleasant and cool all the year. The landscape is beautiful with coffee forests and tea mountains. All these make visitors unforgettable.

4. What other countries have you visited?

Unfortunately, I have never gone abroad so it’s impossible to give you my answers. If I can, I really want to visit the Europe and stay there for two months, I think it is enough time to explore some countries such as France, Germany and England. The reason why I want to visit there and not another country in Asia is that I want to learn it’s unique tradition and culture and enjoy it’s cuisine, you know the West has lots of different things to the East.

5. Where did you go on holiday last year?

As you know, our world has gone through the covid-19 pandemic since the beginning of 2020. The Viet Nam government has immediately imposed social distancing measures to prevent the spread of covid-19. In the last year, some social activities including traveling and tourism are temporarily closed, so we just spent our holiday at home.

6. How often do you go to the seaside?

I have rarely gone to the beach in my lifetime, perhaps just several times. My family lives at the mountain and so it takes lots of time to reach the beach. The last time I went to the sea was with my university friends who studied at the same faculty with me. We went to the Vung Tau Beach and took about 2 hours to arrive there and spent 2 days at there. It was a meaningful and memorable trip and until now we sometimes talk about that trip when having time together.
