Thes usage of 'as'

I know the first sentence of followings is correct and the second one is wrong.

So, I like to know whether the third one sounds fine or not.

Please check it out.

Thanks.

3. is incorrect for the same reason that 2. is.

"As" can't be used with a counterexample.

However, you may say, "She was married again, as was not unexpected."

If you wish to suggest that this result was not expected, you could say,
She was married again, contrary / opposite to expectations.
She was married again, contrary to what

However we can say like "She is honest, as(=but so) is not my sister."

Could you tell me what the difference is between "She is honest, as(=but so) is not my sister." and ""She was married again, as was not expected."?

That is still not so clear for me.

You've got me there. I've never heard "as" used in the way you cite. But I would agree that they're the same - incorrect.

"She is honest, unlike my sister," is quite normal.

I suppose I've heard, "She is honest, as my sister is not."
It's a bit left-handed, but stylish, nonetheless.

I'll have to think about why this doesn't bother me. [:^)]
