Therewithal?

Hi! everyone.Could you correct my sentence containing "therewithal"?
-Kolkata(a city) therewithal being an industrialist city is also a populous city.
Is this sentence like saying-
Kolkata along with being an industrialist city is also a populous city.
What is the meaning of therewithal "along with" or something else?
Thanks!

I'm a native English speaker, and I have never ever ever heard the word 'therewithal'. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with it. I'd just say: Not only is Kolkata an industrialist city, but it is quite populous as well.

I am a native English speaker as well, and although "therewithal" is a adverb one could use in this context, I never hear this word used. It is extremely awkward and archaic. A better choice would be to use "besides" since that is the meaning of therewithal. "Kolkata, besides being an industrial city, is also a populous city."

I'm not sure if my prior post is showing. Use "besides" instead of "therewithal." Therewithal is a very awkward and archaic adverb.
