I wonder if there is subtle difference between "1" and "2".
1.There is something in my eye.
2. I have something in my eye.

well...i guess the first sentence means as if there is something in your eye and you are suspicious about it.....
2nd one make no sense to me......or as you had something in your eye and you're aware of it....and you are just fooling around....
