THERE YOU GO

Dear Teachers,

A: Hey man! You should eat lots of vegetable and drink milk shake.

B: I hate vegetable. I like meat and I love candy.

A: There you go! You shouldn't eat meat and candy a lot.

- Does "There you go!" have a figurative meaning here? if not, what does it mean?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.

It has no meaning in particular in this kind of context. The usage here is actually not quite right. You need a qualifying comment: A: Hey man!
