there is XXX or XXX is there

I don't like the place because
A) there are too many people there.

Which sounds better, A or B?
I'd like to know the difference between 'there is/are XXX (someplace)' and ' XXX is/are (someplace)'.

Thank you.

MakiasanI'd like to know the difference between 'there is/are *** (someplace)' and ' *** is/are (someplace)'.
They are interchangeable.

Thank you for the reply, enoon. So do you think it's OK to say "I don't like the place because too many people are there."?
Thank you.

Both are grammatically fine, Makiasan. Native speakers often use the existential 'there is/are' only because it moves information content toward the end of the sentence, which is the area of emphasis.
