There is /are

Hello,

"There's disadvantages to it and there's advantages " should it not be "there are advantages/disadvantages?

What if I d like to say there are times/ there is times?

Thanks

Yes, it should be "there are advantages/disadvantages". " because that obviously sounds wrong. " is weird and a bit of a tongue twister, so a lot of people incorrectly say, "there's (plural word)".

Yes, it should be "there are advantages/disadvantages".

Most people would not say "There is disadvantages." because that obviously sounds wrong. But to say "There're disadvantages." is weird and a bit of a tongue twister, so a lot of people incorrectly say, "there's (plural word)".

With the second question it should be "There are times..."
