"There is a large variety if bounty." "if"?

...the parents enjoy nurturing. The productivity of their garden symbolises the love and care they provided the family. There is a large variety if bounty. The poet can release his emotions and "ravage" the garden... (Pattinson)

Hi all

This is an extract from a study guide that analyses a poem by Peter Skrynecki. The particular stanza which is being referred to here talks about the persona's parents' passion for gardening.

I think the sentence in bold is referring to the diversity of the plants and vegetables that the parents grow. What I am having trouble understanding is the contruction '...if bounty'. I found out that 'bounty' here means 'abundant supply: a plentiful or generous supply (literary)'. So I was just wondering if you could help me understand what 'if' does to the sentence.

Thank you

I think it's just a typo of 'of'.

Oh! A typo. Thanks for your reply, Nona. I thought it had something to do with the structure "...most, if not all,..." but it didn't make sense to me.

So 'a large variety of bounty' would mean a lot of different types plants that are in abundance, right?

Thank you again
