Just a guess, wait for others

She's very busy during the day (always leaving some things unfinished) and can't sleep at night (insomnia problems perhaps?)

I agree with Ivanhr, but the day/night contrast suggests to me that her days are pleasant, as her nights are unpleasant. She looks forward to the day's activities and wished they didn't have to end.
"Leaving things unfinished" speaks more of obligations - duties.
