"there are just a few moments in life where you sit down and think about people and moments in times past"

...does this sound totally strange or is it ok?

The problem is, that I have already written this sentence in a letter...and it is on it's way to many recipients :-(
So I would appreciate if u can say things like "don't worry, it is not academic englisch, but it is ok" or "sorry, but this is the worst sentence I have ever heard" :-)

kind regards
Ron

It sounds poetic. Don't worry. I think it give your writing a personal touch, a little something that can be difficult to express in a letter.

Hi Jessica,

thank you for your feedback.

Do you think using "where" instead "when" is also OK?

I'm not sure if "where" is grammatically correct since you are describing a time. "When" would of course be appropriate as well.

However, for natural spoken or written English "where" is fine in your text. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.

I'm not sure which one I like better, with "where" or with "when". I think I like "where" better because it really helps pai
