Then - Which paraphrase

Hi teachers,
Which one would be the correct paraphrase for 'then'?
a) next in time.
b) at that time.
After that, he went downstairs to the kitchen and switched on the radio. He wanted to hear the weather forecast. The weatherman said, “Sunny, clear skies, and high temperatures.” Peter was very pleased about that. Then he switched off the radio.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Clive,
Thanks! It could be 'next' as well as 'next in time', or only 'next'?

If you want to get even more elaborate, you can paraphrase it with the underlined words below.

The next thing that happened was that [ he switched off the radio ].
