Their respect
When I want to say something like "they are described as warriors whose success on the battle field evokes the respect of their contemporaries." Can i also say " they are described as warriors whose success on the battle field evokes their respect?
Because i see ' its support' , 'their rescue', its and their being the object of the act of the verb.
