their car / their own car

Hello,

What is the difference between

1. They will be driving their own car

AND

2. They will be driving their car

Top answer

Hi, There's not a lot of difference. #1 just stresses more that they are driving the car they own, rather than, for example, one that they have rented. #2 is what is more commonly said.
