The/a city/town, the/a urbun/rural area?

Hello!

I am a little bit confused about the use of articles in these phrases (I know basic rules about the use of articles: the for something specific or, for example, to/in the country is a set phrase, and a for something unspecific)

The/a city

  • Reasons for the migration from the/a city to the country
  • Some people have to move from the country to the/a city

The/a town

  • Life in a/the/without an article? town is always interesting
  • More and more people from the country to the/a/without an article? town

The/a/ urban/rural area(s)

  • If you want to move to a/the rural area...
  • If you want to move to a/the urban area...
  • There is almost no pollution in the/without an article in rural areas
  • There is more pollution in the/without an article urbun areas

Thanks!

Articles are tricky. I'll try to give you some idea of the way I use them, and I hope it helps. There is a lot of wiggle room in all these.
