Is it okay to use the word replete in this manner: replete (something) instead of (something) replete with...

We generally say "replete with something" as in " literature replete with drama and excitement "

or "This car has an engine replete with the latest technology."

No, not normally. But I've seen the word used in a post noun position.

Example

By the doo doo room with the reek replete. (from a Frank Zappa's song)

When the word is used in this way it is similar to the adjective galore.

I think you wouldn't use it like this in formal speech.
