(The) water - please help

Hi,
We built a swimming pool.
Responses:
1. Now we need to get water.
1. Now we need to get the water.
(I think both are okay).

2. Where are you going to get the water?
3. Where is the water going to come from?
(I prefer "the" in both: it's the water for the pool)

4. The water will come from a local supplier.
(I prefer "the")

5. And we'll be getting (the) water from the river.
I think either is correct, but the article might imply that we will be getting all the water that's in the river, so I would go with no article.

What do you think?
Best,
J

Thank you very much, Alphecca!

To clarify for #5, it is correct if I just say "getting water" (without some/the)?
