00I can't see any problem in your sentence; as far as I know the verb 'to tell' has to be used, instead of 'to say', when we want to mention the 'hearer' (the person spoken to), in direct or reported speeches indifferently; in this case the hearer is 'he' because it's a passive sentence.02br
