The Uses of the Passive?

Hello. I stumbled upon an activity in which I am asked to write a paragraph suggesting solutions to a human made catastrophe. The activity requires the use of the future passive, which I couldn't see the use of it. Why not using the active voice instead? Thank you in advance for your response.

At a bare minimum, you need to remove 'it' at the end. 'which' already takes up that syntactic position; you don't want another word crowding it out.
