The useage of adverbs

Could you tell me which word the adverb "definitely'" describes in the following sentence?

When I have enough money, I'm definitely going to buy a new car.

Thanks.

"Am going to buy" is the verb phrase, and "definitely" is describing it. It is really hard to determine which of the words in the verb phrase is being specifically described, but by the word order, I would go with "going," but it is a typical word order with the adverb placed into the middle of the phrase. It could happen that a person would say, "I am going to definitely buy a new car," to distinguish between, say, buying and renting a car.

This is my opinions.

I am going to [+ verb] = I am intending to which is a present progressive form of future intend or desire. The entire sentence cannot be broken up as you described.
