The use of "unresponsive"

Hi

Do you find the use of unresponsive OK here? Any other suggestion is welcome.

Teacher to Principal (explaining to him why the students were not very active in his class in the last lesson of the day)

Towards the end of the day, students become more and more unresponsive.
