The use of the words apoplectic and pejorative

Hi

Are thee words "apoplectic" and "pejorative" used in everyday spoken English?

Is this sentence OK?

She went all apoplectic as she heard the news.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi

In English, we tend to get by with short words most of the time, but you can you certainly use pejorative and apoplectic if you feel strongly about something. 'She went all apoplectic' is a good way to say that someone's gone a bit mad. If you are offended by someone because they have said something untrue about you then, yes, that's pejorative
