The use of longish

Hi

Would you say that the use of longish is fairly common amonng native speakers--I mean in everyday speech?

Longish hair

Longish pause, etc

-ish is very common in some places. I grew up with it in Colorado, and I hear it all the time now that I live on the west coast. In fact, we even use it with time: come over for dinner about six-ish.
