The use of "jocund" and "taskmaster"

Hi

I would like to ask native speakers if they use or hear the words "jocund" and "taskmasters" these days? How common are these among native speakers?

Thanks,

Tom

"jocund" is an uncommon literary word. Though I know its meaning, I have probably never written or spoken it in my life, nor heard anyone else use it in conversation. In my parlance, the most common use of "taskmaster" in everyday English is probably in the stock expression "a hard taskmaster".

My experience and opinion of these words is the same as Mr Wordy's if you want another vote on the matter.
