The use of GONE

Hi

Do you find these sentences correct and natural, especailly the bold parts.

1) I came to you yesterday but you were gone shopping.

2) I think she is gone for her medical check-up.

3) We waited for about 3 hours, but she remained gone all the while.

You might hear this. Better:

I came to see you yesterday, but you had gone shopping.
I came to see you yesterday, but you were out shopping.
Mr. TomI think she is gone for her medical check-up.
