The use of definite article before the names of holy books

Hi

We generally use "the" before the names of the holy books -- The holy Bible or The holy Quran, The Turah, etc.

But should we use the in this simple question?

What is Quran?
or
What is Bible?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks, Clive.

Just to ensure that I understand you correctly, the first two sentences are natural, but the third and fourth are not. Right?

What is the Quran?
What is the Bible?
What is Quran?
What is Bible?

If you know it is a holy book, say What is the Koran?

If you haven't really heard of it before, say What is a Koran?

If you just don't even know the word, say What does the word Koran' mean?

Mr. TomThe holy Bible or The holy Quran
If you're going to include the word 'holy', I think you should also capitalize it.
