The use of “be going to”

I'm investigating the colloquial usage of “be going to” in camparison to “will.”

In the talk below, is the last sentence "Now we are going to discuss some of them." acceptable or unacceptable,

in this particular context? Does that sound OK or not OK?

We have gestures, pictures, sounds, colors, and so on.

Now we are going to discuss some of them.
