The use of ALONGSIDE

Could someone correct these 2 sentences please.

  • If I run alongside you while you're on the conveyor belt I'll still run faster than you.

  • She lives not on the street alongside the river but the one that intersects that one.

  • She lives not on the street that runs along the river but the one that intersects that one.
