Hi
Are these sentences natural, especially the yellow parts? If yes, could you please give me one or two more examples like this?
He was all smiles about the story.
She was all apologies about the accident.
His teacher is all praises for him.

They all seem odd when modified in that way, and I don't think the 3rd works at all. He was all smiles when I announced his test results. She was all apologies after she realized that she was in the wrong.

- The boys were all eyes / all ears when the girls arrived I can't think of any other natural ones offhand; the form cannot be used with every noun of expression, certainly.
