the usage of pronouns

Hello. Please teach me how to use pronouns correctly. Please look at the sentences below.

I met some foreigners at the station. The foreigners seemed to have lost their way, so I asked the foreigners if I could help. Though the foreigners could not speak Japanese, I completely understood where the foreigners wanted to go because the foreigners showed me a map on a smart phone which was the same one as mine.

Should I change all of the words "some foreigners" to "they" or "them" like...

I'm not sure it is correct to use pronouns for all " some foreigners" simply.
