The usage of English

Hello, 

I am not sure whether the four sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics. 

Can you give me a hand with checking them

1. Regular exercise makes it possible for people to maintain their health, and live longer.

2. If people start to lay emphasis on their sports, and what is more, a verity of exercises are schedule for their holiday or daily routine.

3. How seriously patients suffer from diseases, doctor can cure them with modern operations and medicines. 

4. The availability of medical care increases the change of people’ longevity.
