I'd appreciate it if someone would answer my question. Thank you in advance.
A: In December people in this district begin to see an arrival of winter birds.
B: In December people in this district see arrivals of winter birds.
Are both sentences right? I'd like to know about the usage of "an arrival of" and "arrivals of".
(B) suggests that different groups of birds arrive at different times. In (A), it seems more natural to me to write " the arrival". I would put a comma after "December".

"district" may not be the best choice of word.
