'The' usage

Does the following conversation make sense?

Person1: Did you speak with Mr. A?

Person2: Which A are you talking about? I spoke to the Mr.A in Rhode Island office! I don't know the Mr.A in Maine office!

P.S. Person A actually meant the Mr. A in Maine (Person B knows who Mr.A is, but does has not talked to the person yet.)
