The Transition to Autumn

By: Amber Caughlan

The nights grow colder,

And as they do,

The smell of autumn fills the air.

The leaves start falling,

In that glorious way only leaves can fall.

They are graceful, like little dancers.

The days get shorter,

And you can smell first frost in the distance.

The holidays are just around the corner.

By the way, where do you live?

From where I live, I don't expect frost any time soon, especially not with our global warming problems...
