The timing of delivery

Dear all,

I am not sure if the two following phrases in bold mean the same timing. I am confuesed about the word "delivery" here. Delivery could mean the act of delivering something but it doesn't be send to a particular person.

Delivery could mean that a particular person has already received the goods.

In other words, I am confused about the timing of delivery in the two following phrases in bold.

Thank you for your patience.

I understand from the contract that you will allow me thirty days' credit from the date of delivery. I therefore expect your invoice for $30,000, payable thirty days after delivery.

Thanks again.
