The themed principality...

Hi All,

Could someone explain to me what dos the word/sentence between brackets mean?

1-Monaco... the (themed) principality

2- It is famous of its spotless streets, historic hotels and (high octane) Grand Prix.

3-littering is a strict no-no in Monaco - along with walking around (bare-chested)

Thanx in advance

  • "high octane" Grand Prix = petrol comes in various degrees of octane[a liquid hydrocarbon present in petroleum spirit]; high octane is what is used by racing cars.

Thanx alot Feebs for your help. The themed principalty is a headline for An article that I'm translating about Monaco, so there is no context for it.
