The tense

Hi guys!

I suppose this is a correct sentence: "Mary won't be at home when you arrive."
"Really? Where will she have gone?", however, I have a little problem with understanding that "will she have gone"?

I suppose it's like saying: "Where will she have gone by that time?"

cheers

Yes. Or like saying "Where will she be?"

Hi

So the sentence: "Where will she be" also works in my original sentence?

By the way: Can I say: "What is it an ego?" Is the "an" OK?
