the temperatures are climbing

Hello,
I realize it is a rather silly question and it is mainly prompted by insecurities. Is it correct to say "It was very cold last week, but the temperatures are climbing up."? I would usually say "it is getting warmer" or "The temperatures are rising." I am just too curious and insecure Emotion: smile.
Thank you

Climbing , like the other choices, is correct, but I think it is heard less often.
