The tea is too hot. I'm waiting to ................

The tea is too hot. I'm waiting to .......... so that I can drink it.
The food is too hot so we put them in front of the fan so that it can ........ fast and ready to eat.
It's too hot. Let it to .......... for a while. We can eat/drink then.

Could you please correct my sentences and fill up the blanks as well?

Basically I'm looking for a word to mean "to make the hot stuffs cold" or something like that.
