The struggle with comparisons.

Are these sentences correct? If not, please correct it and explain why.

1 . None of his colleagues is as clever as he is.

2 . No one else from class is as good in chess as Benn is.

3 . English is nothing like as difficult as French.

4 . The Vistula is nothing like as long as The Nile.

5 . Math is nothing as difficult as chemistry.


The underlined beginning must stay untouched. (That's not my homework; it's just an exercise before the test.)
