Hi, I just finished reading "El Extranjero" and wanted to know if someone out there was interested in sharing with me their analysis on the novel, which I found is quite interesting... I don't know how many of you out there have read it or have analyzed it...
Some pretty obvious things I found where, for example, the constant recurrence to the number 2, which I understand projects that Meursault is a divided man, also there is the mention of the sun as something like a constant enemy, if not an enemy then just "something" that is there almost every time Meursault does anything that ends up badly... another thing I thought was important was the way he talks, usually putting up excuses and apologizing without any apparent reason... Well, I hope someone wants to discuss their views about this book.. I also read recently "Delirio" by Laura Restrepo, if anyone knows it, I don't mind discussing it as well. Greetings from Mexico
