0 I don't know whether she happy or sad with the news. When I read the story, seems like she sad with the news, but when I read the comments by other people, they said that she is happy with the news because she wants to be freed from her husband. 0-

The basic idea of "Story of an Hour" is about a married couple Mr. and Mrs. Mallard. Mrs. Mallard is told her husband was been in a horrible train wreck. Mrs. Mallard first experiences shock of her husbands death, then realizes that she has freedom from her husband. Remember this is a time period of male dominance. However, right when Mrs. Mallards starts to think she has freedom from her husband
