'The sooner, the better.

I understand the meaning of 'The sooner, the better.'

I think the following sentences should be correct because 'the sooner, the better' is correct. But I've never seen them.

That sooner, that better.

This sooner, this better.

The soon, the good.

That soon, that good.

This soon, this good.

Are the sentences above correct? If they are, what do they mean?

Hi Northwind, Your sentences, while very interesting, would not be acceptable in conventional writing. The sooner is a short way of saying The sooner you do this or The sooner you finish this or something similar. With a construction like That sooner or The soon there's no sentence that is easily made from it.
