"The Snow Goose...through a Canadian snow goose."

The Snow Goose is a classic short novella which tells the story of a secluded hunchback and the bond he forms with a young girl through a Canadian snow goose.

Just wondering if you think this sentence is too long. I am not sure how I should include the italicised part.

Thank you

I think it's structurally fine, PBF The only thing that bothers me is the repetition of 'snow goose"-- it makes the sentence somewhat tautological (I use that word in a loose sense). How about something like this: The Snow Goose is a classic short novella which tells the story of a secluded hunchback and the bond he forms with a young girl through an injured wild bird.
