Hello Vasiliy Yes, it's surprising there hasn't been a Smiths revival. I think Johnny Marr's guitar-playing was pretty good too. I don't much care for Morrissey's solo stuff, though.

Yes, it's surprising there hasn't been a Smiths revival. I think Johnny Marr's guitar-playing was pretty good too. I don't much care for Morrissey's solo stuff, though.

About Morrisey. Yes, his solo isn't strong, but what funny affected style (perafaelism and other stuff). The Smiths' poetry is sometimes sad, sometimes sarcastic and in common it's light (I don't mean easy to understand).
Marr is the best! There were a rather famous band in Russia that had copied his manner of playing. That's it.
