Yes it is correct, and it is an exaggeration.

Another is: 'I haven't the foggiest idea what to do' or 'I haven't got a clue what to do'

It is used; commonly not so much. In Australia we tend to shorten everything. So it would be something like:

'Haven't got a clue'
or
'Haven't the foggiest'
or
'No idea'

lol...I know, it's not easy with expressions or slang, as the rules are not so clear cut.

I wrote elsewhere in this forum that I believe the word 'got' should be removed from the English language. This is of course my own opinion; others might see it differently.

The usage is: 'I haven't the foggiest.....' or 'I haven't a clue...'
