The singular possessive for business. is it business' or business's?

until very recently I thought it would be "business' "

but I was corrected and now know it is "business's" since it is a singular noun (even though it ends in 's')

If the triple S of business's bothers you, you can rewrite: the X of the busines. Or you can say something like "the organization's X" instead.

Please note (both of you) that proper English sentences require proper capitalization and punctuation. There's not much point in getting worried about ss' or ss's if you're not going to

The OWL resource that you cite says that using an apostrophe with no "s" is also acceptable. So, based on that, it would be acceptable to talk about a business' attributes.
