The sentences

Hello,

Could you please correct these sentences?

Next day they both met each other at George’s place like it was arranged. ( Should it be; like they were arranged to? or like it was arranged to?)

He was married and the only heir to his (or the? without 'his') huge fortune was his beautiful daughter.

He saw many people in and out, (I meant to say inside the castle and out of it. Can I say inside the castle and out?) and horse-drawn carriages.
Thanks

The next day they both met each other at George’s place like (as is better) it was arranged.

He was married and the only heir to his huge fortune was his beautiful daughter.

He saw many people inside and outside the castle. (I'm not sure if you mean that the people outside the castle were in horse-drawn carriages.)

Thank you. I meant to say that some of them were in horse-drawn carriages and some were not.
