Could you please check these sentences?
1.Every neighbor wondered who there lived.
2.They decided to knock at the door. Nothing again, ( should 'nor' be used here?) even a slight movement.
3.They leaned the ladder against the wall, climbed and looked inside.
4.It was an ordinary room just like others.
5.They were observing the room with a great interest
6.Hardly had he said it when somebody ran by hopping like a child.
7. They were rather surprised than frightened.
8.Let’s leave, until we make them angry.”
