I know. I have too many questions. Check this sentence, please. "Bundling can benefit the seller as well as the customer, though it seems obvious that the former benefits more. "

I would add "...that the former benefits (BOTH OF) THEM more....

to tell you the truth I don't get it. Do you mean that "the seller benefits both of them more"? Right?

To tell the truth I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that...it must be that it's high time I went to bed....you can use that solution you wrote or just "that the former benefits more from it" just because the first meaning of benefit is to do good to smt and then it becomes an intransitive verb meaning to derive advantage FROM smt.
