Look, Jimmy, I think it's just gonna take
a littIe bit of time to breathe the embers back to life. Again to renew it?

Jimmy: We could do a cartwheel through
a fountain of gasoline and come out perfectly fine. Nothing can stand between them?

the dialogue reminds me a lot of Loriot... but anyway.

as far as the wildfire and spark. Well, his plan is to put a spark back in their relationship but is about to start a wildfire. The thing is that he tries to stabilize their fragile relationship and runs the risk of the spark starting a wildfire because the situation is so delicate.

But neither the spark nor the wildfire occur which is why they need to "breathe the ember back to life"

And a "cartwheel through the fountain of gasoline and come out perfectly fine" would then mean that there is absolutely nothing happening between them no spark whatsoever because if they'd be on fire or if there was a mere spark between them while doing a cartwheel through a fountain of gasoline, they would certainly not come out perfectly fine!

I realise this is an old thread, but I'd like to get an answer too.

I think the last part with the gasoline fountain is pretty clear. Chloe says that it's going to take some time to get the spark back in their relationship. Jimmy replies that it seems hopeless: they could dip into a gasoline fountain and it wouldn't do squat. Then he asks, whether Chloe has any feelings towards him at all (not feeling this anymore).

But the wildfire part is confusing. Does it mean that
A) Jimmy is not trying to start a war/turn this into a fight.

or:

B) Jimmy's not trying to start a huge burning love affair; he's been merely trying to put any kind of spark back in their relationship.

Quick comments would be appreciated.
